Each year AWM Media distributes several thousand copies of Scriptures, evangelistic literature, Bible correspondence courses and audiovisual material to Muslim seekers throughout North Africa, the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula.

Our strategy for distribution includes both mail and face-to-face outreach initiatives. Materials are mailed from our response centres in France, Lebanon and locations inside limited-access countries. This is undertaken by AWM staff, other missionaries and national churches. Scriptures, literature, Bible courses and audio-visual materials are sent out to those who request them by letter, email or SMS after listening to our radio programmes, viewing our television programmes or visiting our evangelistic websites.

In a face-to-face initiative in 2006, we distributed over 2,000 copies of the AWM Media production, Is it the end or just the beginning? during the FIFA World Cup event in Germany, plus 20,000 copies in Iraq, Syria and Hezbollah-controlled southern Lebanon, as well as several thousand copies in the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa. Putting God’s Word into the hands of Muslim seekers is a top priority. Our literature and audio-visual materials are chosen on the basis of what will be most helpful in bringing Muslims further along in their understanding of the message of salvation.

The 270 million residents of the Arab world represent one-fifth of all Muslims, and make up one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. Yet in the Arab world today there are fewer than three Christian workers for every one million people.

AWM Media receives an average of 25,000 visitors to our evangelistic websites each month. These enquirers are asking for copies of the Bible, Christian literature, Bible courses and audio-visual materials. This is one of many indications of the spiritual hunger of Muslims living in North Africa, the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula. Many are dissatisfied with the answers Islam provides to economic, social and spiritual issues.

God is active and working in the lives of Muslims living in the region. Since 1959, more than a quarter of a million Muslim seekers have completed Bible correspondence courses provided by AWM Media.

In 2008 we prayerfully aim to:

• Research and provide the most appropriate Arabic and French material for church planting efforts in the Arab world
• Purchase sufficient resources to respond to requests from both within and outside the Arab world
• Distribute 1,000 portions of scripture, 5,000 pieces of other literature and 15,000 VCDs, DVDs and CDs containing audio-visual materials
• Provide material to strategic outreach events taking place in Marseille, London, Paris and other main centres in Europe, including an outreach to North Africans at Spanish ports
