AWM Media is a division of Arab World Ministries which was established in 1881. It all began in 1959 in Marrakech, Morocco when the team started producing radio programmes and providing Bible correspondence courses in North Africa. Initially this was done from Morocco and then, in 1964, the base of operations moved to Marseille, France.

Bible correspondence courses have proven their effectiveness as a first step in church planting in the Arab world over many years. Since the inception of this fruitful ministry, they have been instrumental in sharing the truth of the gospel with over 250,000 seekers on a personal level.

In 1982, AWM Media began publishing evangelistic literature (books, tracts, scripture portions, etc.). In 1999 we started producing satellite television programmes. And since 2002 AWM Media has also developed a significant internet ministry consisting of several evangelistic websites, including an internet-response network and personal email correspondence.

The ministry of AWM Media also includes discipleship and leadership development. All of our media products are designed and produced with the clear intent to present the gospel of Jesus Christ in a language and context that is appropriate and understandable to peoples of the Arab world. When appropriate, Media contacts are put in touch with in-country workers and believers for follow-up. The activities of AWM Media are an integral part of AWM’s strategy to plant mature, multiplying churches among all Muslim peoples of the Arab world.

All staff at AWM Media raise their own support, but even without the expense of salaries the ongoing costs are high. AWM Media wouldn’t be here without the generous support of churches and individuals. The potential is to reach thousands upon thousands of Arabic speaking Muslims – many of whom have never heard the gospel. Please consider giving to this vital ministry.
